Annual ETEN Meeting - September 10-12, 2009.

Annual ETEN Exchange Coordinator (ECO) and Thematic Interest Group (TIG) Leader Meeting. Leuven, September 10-12, 2009.

The KHLeuven Department of Teacher Education is pleased to welcome you to the ETEN ECO & TIG Leader Meeting in September 2009. The conference will be held at the Campus on the Hertogstraat 178, 3001 Heverlee. Deadline for registration is July 9 2009.

Thursday, September 10
Board meeting
17.30 – 21.30: Welcoming reception and dinner at the KHLeuven Teacher Education Department. KHLeuven, DLO, Hertogstraat 178, 3001 Heverlee.
Friday, September 11
9.00 – 17.00: Meetings and lunch at the KHLeuven Teacher Education Department.
19.30: Dinner at Faculty Club in the Groot Begijnhof in Leuven
Saturday, September 12
9.00 – 13.30: Meetings and lunch at the KHLeuven Teacher Education Department.
13.30: Individual afternoon activities
19.00: Dinner and talent show at Novotel

Thursday, 10 September
Morning: Visit to the European Parliament in Brussels. Transport by train. Names and passport numbers of participants need to be passed on to the European Parliament ahead of time in order to be allowed into the building. So, if you like to join this visit, you need to make sure you book this on the registration form. (Price: 20 Euro)
Sunday, 13 September
8.30 - 21.30: excursion to the battle fields of the Great War near Ypres with an experienced guide. For this visit you can book on the registration form. (Price: 70 Euro)

Travel from Brussels National Airport to NOVOTEL Leuven

A direct train takes you from Brussels National Airport to Leuven in 14 minutes. The train fare is about 3 Euro. On workdays trains go every half hour during the day. On Sundays it’s every hour. A taxi may be as much as 75 Euro. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the railway station.
