Keep your options open

Studying at Leuven University College allows you to keep your options open. Perhaps you want to obtain a master's degree but have doubts about the study pressure. Or perhaps your parents want you to go to university first, whereas you prefer the idea of a university college.

At Leuven University College, you don't have to worry about missing out; your options remain open. With a bachelor's degree from Leuven University College, you can take one of two routes. You can enter the job market immediately, i.e. start work straight after your studies. Or you can move up to the university. You then follow a bridge programme of at least 60 study points. If you do this successfully, you can start a master's course (also at least 60 study points).

So opting for Leuven University College doesn't mean saying a final farewell to university. In educational circles, we talk about the salmon model: just like a salmon, you gradually move higher over the course of your studies.
