Fiscal Studies

Fiscal Studies

Tax legislation is becoming increasingly complex. For this reason, there is a severe shortage of competent tax experts in today's job market. The traditional bachelor's and master's degree programmes offer an inadequate response to the growing demand for far-reaching specialisation in the field of tax. The postgraduate certificate in Fiscal Studies fills this void.

Is this programme right for you?

Do you have an economics-related or legal bachelor's or master's degree? And do you want to specialise further in tax law? This course gives you the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the most important aspects of tax throughout one academic year. For all programme elements, we provide prominent speakers who are recognised as leading experts.

What will you learn?

Extensive practical knowledge in the following areas: personal income tax, corporation tax, VAT, international tax law, tax procedure, regional and local taxes, succession and registration duties.

Where can you work?

This course allows you to practise the profession of tax consultant or accountant. The certificate is also a useful asset if you wish to work in the tax department of a private business or government agency.
