The Social Mediation course is a new initiative run as a collaboration between K.U.Leuven and Leuven University College, Department of Social Work, Heverlee. Both institutions are partners in the K.U.Leuven Association and are responding to social developments by introducing a new multidisciplinary and practice-oriented course. The course is intended for professionals who aim to find negotiated solutions to work conflicts as a third party.
This course is for anyone who wants to become proficient in the theory and practice of conflict management in organisations and in mediation of work conflicts between individuals in teams.
Trade unions, the HRM department of an organisation, the labour inspection service or an external prevention service. Or you can become an independent mediator in social affairs etc.
The course comprises two modules, spread over one academic year.
