The advanced bachelor's programme Special Needs Education is a practice-oriented course. You learn how to stimulate the development of children and young people with specific needs. In both mainstream and special needs education.
You want to stimulate students in their development. That means all students, including those who, for whatever reason, find it more difficult to learn.
Do you want to expand your expertise? Do you want to more effectively meet the expectations imposed by the new comprehensive special needs policy? Do you want to meet others who share this responsibility of care with you? Then the advanced bachelor's programme Special Needs Education is right for you.
We want to pull out all the stops when it comes to care: care for students in mainstream and special needs education.
The various options allow you to map out your own learning path, so that the content of the lessons meets your training needs.
You learn, for example,
With the advanced bachelor Special Needs Education, you can work in special needs or mainstream education. Or you can work as a special needs teacher in mainstream education (GON - Integrated Education).
Your original bachelor degree determines the role you can take on: teacher, paramedic, orthopedagogics expert, social worker etc. If you do not yet have a teaching diploma, the diploma of the advanced bachelor's programme is regarded as a Certificate of Teaching Competence (GPB).
You can choose between the study programme for the daytime courses or the study programme for the weekend courses.
