Advanced Bachelor in Advanced Business Management, Option in Management and Logistics

Nowadays, a forward-looking business cannot operate without efficient logistics. Thanks to its central position in Europe, Flanders is an attractive location for logistics activities. Consequently, there is a high level of demand for well-trained logistics managers. This one-year business-oriented course is therefore the ideal programme to prepare you for those sought-after jobs.

In the first semester, all lectures are given by specialist guest lecturers from the business world. In the second semester, you produce a business project under the guidance of your personal Leuven University College coach.

You've already obtained an economics-related bachelor's or master's degree. But you'd like to acquire additional management skills and you have ambitions in the field of purchasing or logistics. You also want to gain lots of practical experience during your course.

What will you learn?

The programme comprising strategic and international management as well as professional skills sharpens your general management abilities.

In addition, the course focuses on specific areas within logistics management and purchasing. The programme has been developed in collaboration with VIB/PICS, in accordance with the competence standards defined by the European Logistics Association.

In order to put the knowledge you have acquired into practice, you spend a semester working on a business project. You choose the business and play a role in determining the objectives and planning of your project. At the end of the academic year, you present a defence of your project paper to a professional panel.
