Advanced Bachelor in Advanced Business Management, Option in Human Resource Management

The human factor in organisations is becoming increasingly important. As a result, we are seeing a proportionate increase in demand for qualified HR professionals. This one-year business-oriented course prepares you in a very practical way for a successful career.

In the first semester, all lectures are given by specialist guest lecturers from the business world. In the second semester, you produce a business project under the guidance of your personal Leuven University College coach.

You've obtained a bachelor degree in personnel work or have a strong foundation in human resource management. But you'd like to acquire additional management skills as well as immersing yourself further in human resource management. You also want to gain lots of practical experience during your course.

What will you learn?

The programme comprising strategic and international management as well as professional skills sharpens your general management abilities.

In addition, the course focuses on specific areas within HRM. We do not approach HRM from a strategic perspective alone, but also tackle e-HRM and specific HRM topics.

In order to put the knowledge you have acquired into practice, you spend 17 weeks working on a business project. You choose the business and play a role in determining the objectives and planning of your project. At the end of the academic year, you present a defence of your project paper to a professional panel.
