Education and examination regulations

Leuven University College offers you a programme tailored to your needs, with valuable tutoring and support. This makes us one of the most flexible university colleges in Flanders. Our education and examination regulations illustrate how we approach this task.

Practical Information

Consider the following practical information when you follow a clinical training.

  •  A deposit of 15 Euro is required for the locker you have to rent in the hospital. After the clinical training you get the money back.
  • Required vaccinations: Hepatitis B virus v., Tetanus v. and BCG test (Bacillus Calmette – Guerin test)
  • You can wear the white uniform from your home institution.
  • We expect you to work in the clinical field: nurses will help you but a certain degree of independence is necessary if you want to do this clinical training in our institution.
  • We recommend that you have a basic knowledge of the Dutch language.

In order to prepare your training we ask you to send your answers to Mrs Anne Deschamps.

  • In which unit/ward are you interested to have your clinical experience?
  • What are your skills (theoretical and practical background)?
  • What kind of clinical field did you already experienced?
  • How many days a week do you have: to work on the ward and to be free for report/study?
  • Do you have to work during Christmas/Easter holidays?
  • In what language(s) are you able to communicate?
