In the option in Business Translation - Interpreting, you receive an in-depth, practice-oriented education in languages. Besides specific translation studies, information technology and office management skills also play a large role. As a multilingual business translator/interpreter, you're an indispensable link between the business and its foreign partners.

Then the Office Management bachelor degree, option in Business Translation - Interpreting is definitely for you.

You receive in-depth communication and translation training in Dutch, French, English and German. And training in interpreting at business meetings. With the Business Communication and Spanish option paths, you can tailor your programme even more closely to your own interests.

You get to know the business world. Via the translation agency, guest speakers, projects, company visits.
Is Belgium too small? Then go for an international experience: an Erasmus exchange, a work placement abroad or an international week.

Where can you work?

As a multilingual business translator/interpreter, you're an indispensable link between the business and its foreign partners. You can work in a wide variety of sectors. Primarily in multilingual and multinational companies in Belgium or abroad. However, you may also find a job in small companies that have foreign business partners. You can, for example, work as an employee in a translation agency, a project co-ordinator in a translation agency, a copywriter, a helpdesk agent, an international communicator or, of course, an office manager.
