At Leuven University College, each lecturer is also a coach. Our lecturers are approachable and are happy to answer your questions. They are very keen to ensure the welfare of their students.
They can give you tips on assimilating the learning material systematically, encourage you to work independently. If necessary, they can refer you to another person or office.

The most approachable member of the support staff is your study itinerary coach. He or she takes responsibility for the progress of your studies and is your fixed point of contact. He or she is also closely involved in the study option you have chosen. Together with your study itinerary coach, you discuss the progress of your studies and learn to reflect on your study performance and the choices you have made during your studies. He or she keeps abreast of your study results and gives you study advice. Your study itinerary coach can, if necessary, refer you to other qualified staff within the course: to the student office for support and advice in specific situations, to study coaching staff, or to the study counselling office.

The study counselling office helps you formulate your tailor-made programme for the year. Once you have submitted your dossier, you also know which exemptions you can obtain.

Study coaching staff help you study more efficiently. A wide range of study coaching services are available at Leuven University College. All students are screened, attend an introductory meeting and are then given a tailor-made range of options. There are various evening sessions: ‘You can learn to study’, ‘Planning skills’, ‘Fear of failure’ etc. In addition, study skills training is available within each department, such as coaching, subject-related study coaching and learning platforms.
