Student Services gives you a free Velo bicycle (you pay the deposit yourself).
Velo is a social and ecological bicycle project that allows students and residents of Leuven to rent a bike. Velo also has a bicycle repair workshop, where students can repair their bike, or have it repaired. Drop in to Velo and take away your free bicycle.

Students of Leuven University College are given a free bus pass. You can use this to ride anywhere in the Leuven zone.

The staff in the railway station can further advise you on the cheapest fare to and from any destination. Further reductions are available for those minus 26.
