Leuven University College sports hall

Since 2003, Leuven University College has had its own sports hall (Hertogstraat 178 in Heverlee, tel.: 016 375 780). It comprises 2 halls with a total of 5 units. The large room with 3 units is ideal for basketball, handball, badminton, volleyball and other ball sports. It also has a climbing wall that can be used for learning. The smaller room with 2 units is suitable for a variety of dancing and gymnastic activities. The dance studio is equipped with a full mirrored wall and a professional music system.

Climbing

The climbing wall is 25 metres wide, 9 metres high and has the necessary relief with a number of climbing routes marked, including more difficult ones. You pay a surcharge of € 5.00 per session for climbing, including equipment.

Fitness

The Leuven University College sports hall is equipped with a fitness room. With a Leuven University College sports card, students can come and work out at a reduced price under professional supervision.

The Leuven University College sports card

With the Leuven University College sports card, each student can enjoy a whole range of student sports facilities for a whole academic year for just € 17.00. As a Leuven University College student, you can use the Leuven University College sports hall, the sports facilities in Diest and the K.U.Leuven sports infrastructure (University Sports Centre); all you need to do is make a reservation.

With your sports card, you can also participate for free in the activities organised by the Leuven University College Sports Council. You can work out or do indoor cycling and wall-climbing, as well as other sports, for a reduced fee. Your Leuven University College sports card also insures you against sporting accidents. This sports card also entitles to you to free sports equipment hire (from hall manager or sports officer) in the Leuven University College sports hall.
