Directions to the Department of Health and Technology

By bus or train
The train and bus station in Leuven is around 4 km from the Gasthuisberg site. Take one of the following lines towards the city centre: 16, 333, 334, 335, 380, 370-374. During the day, there is a bus every ten minutes. All these buses stop at the main entrance of the hospital. The G&T (Health and Technology) department is within walking distance of this bus stop. Only bus line 3 continues on from the entrance of the hospital to Education and continuing education (next to G&T). By car
via the E40 motorway:
Between exits 22 and 23, join the E314 motorway towards Leuven/Hasselt/Genk. Then follow the directions as for 'via the E314 motorway'.

via the E314 motorway:
Take exit 17 and drive towards Leuven as far as the ring road (Brusselsepoort). Before the bridge, turn right onto the ring road (towards Tervuren/Namen) and leave this road at the first exit: marked 'UZ Leuven'. At the roundabout by the artwork 'Het Teken', turn right (marked 'Onderwijs en navorming'). After around 100 metres, you will see the Department of Health and Technology on the left-hand side (red building).
However, to park, follow the signs for the hospital's (pay) car park from the roundabout.

via the ring road:
If you're driving on the outer ring road: Follow the ring road to just past Brusselsepoort, where you will see signs to 'UZ Leuven'. Follow the signs for 'Onderwijs en navorming' at the roundabout by the artwork 'Het Teken'. After around 100 metres, you will see the Department of Health and Technology on the left-hand side (red building).
If you're driving on the inner ring road: Follow the ring road to just past the Tervuursepoort junction. From there, follow the signs for 'UZ Leuven' and then 'Onderwijs en navorming'. (see above)
