Directions to ECHO

By car
Getting to ECHO via Haasrode
If you're travelling:

• via the E314, take the E40 towards Luik
• from Brussels, take the E40 towards Luik
• from Luik, take the E40 towards Leuven

Then take:

• Exit 23 – Meerdalboslaan N25 towards Korbeek-Lo, Bierbeek, Haasrode
• After 300 metres, take the first road on the left. Drive into the commercial zone of Haasrode as far as the Volvo garage
• You then come to a T-junction. Turn right and follow the road to the end of the commercial zone (Ambachtenlaan)
• You come to a three-way fork. Take the middle road, Milseweg. This road goes straight through the military area – De Hemptinne barracks. Follow the road to the next junction (Kerspelstraat/Hertogstraat).
• Straight across the junction, you will see the Heverlee sports hall. The Business Studies department ('ECHO') is next to the sports hall, with the student car park situated in Kerspelstraat.

Getting to ECHO via the centre of Leuven via Ruelensvest
If you're travelling via the E314, take exit 15 – Leuven

• Follow Koning Boudewijnlaan N264 as far as the viaduct, then turn right onto the Tervuursevest next to the viaduct
• Drive past the Delhaize store and at the lights (Naamsepoort) go straight on, onto Ruelensvest
• Drive as far as Parkpoort (Philips site)
• At the lights, turn right – Geldenaaksebaan
• At the second set of lights, turn right onto Pakenstraat
• Follow the road as far as the junction of Kerspelstraat and Hertogstraat.
• Straight across the junction, you will see the Heverlee sports hall. The Business Studies department ('ECHO') is next to the sports hall, with the student car park situated in Kerspelstraat.

Getting to ECHO via the centre of Leuven via Hertogstraat
If you're travelling via the E314, take exit 15 – Leuven

By public transport
by bus
The Heverlee Kazerne bus stop is 200 metres from the department entrance. You can find the timetable for buses 4, 5 and 6 on www.delijn.be. Every quarter of an hour there is a bus from the centre of Leuven. Bus 2 (Naamsesteenweg) – this bus takes you to the department via Naamsesteenweg.

by train
Heverlee station is a 10-minute walk from our department. You can get to Heverlee station on the Leuven-Ottignies line.
