Applying in Leuven

You can enrol with Leuven University College at any time. Enrolment for all our courses starts in February. So if you made the 'wrong study choice' in September, you can put it right straight away, without having lost a full academic year.

If you've obtained a number of credits, you may be able to obtain exemptions and join the study option of your choice more easily. We do everything we can to ensure a smooth transition.

Always enrol at the department where you wish to study. Even if you've already pre-enrolled.

When can you come and enrol?

You can still enrol for the current academic year if you have gone  succesfully through our procedure for foreign students.

For the 2009-2010 academic year, you can enrol at our info days or from 1 March 2009, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 to 4 p.m. The departments are closed during the Christmas and Easter holidays, and during the summer holiday period in July and August (13 July to 7 August).

What do you need to you bring when you come to enrol?
  • identity card
  • SIS card (health insurance card)
  • printout of pre-enrolment (if you're already pre-enrolled)
  • a copy of your certificate of higher secondary education or the permission obtained by the academic secretary after completing our application procedure for foreign students
  • if applicable, the overviews/certificates of credits already obtained, copies of diplomas already obtained and/or employment certificate(s)
  • for students in rented accommodation, a copy of your rental agreement
