Consultation bodies at Leuven University College

The General Assembly is composed of delegates of the K.U.Leuven Association (60% of the Assembly) and delegates of Leuven University College (40%). This consultation body is, among others, responsible for approving and amending the bylaws, appointing governors and commissioners/auditors, and approving the budget and the annual accounts.
The Board of Governors is responsible for developing Leuven University College’s strategy.

The Academic Council is an advisory council for the benefit of the college administrators with regard to the college’s strategy in educational matters. The Academic Council consists of student, staff and college administrators delegates.
The Committee of Prevention and Protection in the Workplace is a consultation body which develops a coherent and efficient strategy with regard to prevention, wellbeing and sustainability. The department staff members are the first line of contact in case of questions or issues within the department.
In the College Consultation Committee, the college administrators and delegates of representative trade unions discuss all matters pertaining to personnel.
The interdepartmental task forces will prepare policies related to college wide issues.
